The 2010 Birmingham Tattoo

All the traditional elements of the Tattoo will be present again in this three-hour spectacular - from the massed bands, parade of standards, field gun competition, lone piper and the spectacular Grand Finale which will include the patriotic favourite ‘Land of Hope and Glory’.

For more than 20 years the Birmingham Tattoo has thrilled audiences with world class performers joining local groups to create a three-hour spectacle. All the traditional elements of the Tattoo are present again this year - from the Massed Bands, Parade of Standards, Field Gun Competition, Lone Piper and the Spectacular Grand Finale.

The Massed Marching Bands
Experience the world’s finest military bands as they perform a three-hour spectacular that will have your toes tapping, your fingers drumming and you begging for more.

The Exciting Displays
From the field gun competition to the dog display team to the dancers the exciting displays will leave the audience on the edge of their seats. 

A truly Spectacular performance
This year’s Birmingham Tattoo will culminate in a Spectacular Grand Finale featuring the Massed Bands and a special guest appearance by the British Tenor Tim Pitman. The event would not be complete without the ever-popular Closing Ceremony which will feature the Royal Air Force Cosford Queen’s Colour and Escort, the traditional Land of Hope and Glory, the Evening Hymn and the Lone Piper.
