We welcome lists of desiderata, which are recorded on our computer, and flagged automatically if they come into our stock. Quotations are sent without obligation to purchase. Listings contain prices in GB Pounds Sterling and in US Dollars, and do not include postage. We do not accept plastic, but payments may be made by credit or debit card using the secure PayPal site, and we make no extra charge for payments made in this way. If you wish to make payment by cheque in US $, please add $5.00 to the total towards our conversion costs. Books can also be paid for in many other currencies (see the 'Terms of Trade - Orders from outside Great Britain' section on the Methods of Payment tab.) All books can be ordered by e-mail - and facilities are provided for doing this directly from the Catalogues. Multiple orders sent at the same time, to be delivered to the same address, will be compacted at this end and billed as a single consignment to save you costs. We issue e-mail lists of recent acquisitions two or three times a year. If you would like to receive them, please click here. The site is intended primarily for browsing: clicking on any of the 'Subject Catalogues' below will take you to an alphabetical index of authors which will help you to narrow your search. Books are then listed by date of publication for each author, starting with the earliest. In addition, we are experimenting with a keyword search facility. This is only available if you have a javascript enabled browser, and, depending on the speed of your connection, may work rather slowly. (It takes up to four minutes to load with a 56k modem). |
